About Us
Paul J. Dougherty is the founder of Dougherty Patent Services. Paul is a United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) registered patent agent (Registration No 61,967), and is an insured practitioner. He personally renders or supervises all patent services.
Paul is a member of the National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP).
Paul is a former USPTO Patent Examiner and has extensive industry experience having been employed by several high-tech companies as both a software engineer and a computer sytems engineer. Paul's professional experience includes several lead technical roles with Lockheed Martin.
Paul holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and a M.S. in computer systems engineering both from Boston University.
